About me:

Hi, I'm Charles. I'm a graduate of Ultimo TAFE with a Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising (Design and Product Development), I studied up to the final week of my Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising, but unfortunately, personal reasons led me to decide to part ways.

Unlike many in the industry, I don't have any plans for this to turn into a full-time occupation. This intentional decision allows me to focus more keenly on my designs, ensuring that each piece is crafted with meticulous care and an uncompromising dedication to quality.

My love for the world of design, coupled with a keen interest in ethical practices, have been guiding forces throughout my journey. This commitment has been ingrained in me for many years, shaping not only my approach to design but also influencing the sourcing and manufacturing processes I engage in.

In my pursuit of creating garments that seamlessly blend quality and sustainability, I've established collaborations with South Korean manufacturers and mills. This strategic partnership ensures that my current and future capsules maintain the highest standards without compromising on quality or ethical practices.

My commitment to ethical and sustainable practices extends to the manufacturing process. Every item is proudly produced in South Korea, adhering to strict ethical standards and practices. Production is done in limited quantities to minimise waste and overconsumption. The choice of locally sourced fabric also allows us to cut down on COâ‚‚ emissions.

I believe in the longevity of fashion. To uphold this principle, every garment undergoes rigorous quality checks, guaranteeing faultless craftsmanship and a superior standard. The goal is to create pieces that stand the test of time, both in terms of quality and design.

Breaking away from industry norms, I've set minimal profit margins to allow my creations to be accessible to a wider audience. By defying traditional pricing standards, I aim to bridge the gap and allow more individuals to experience and embrace quality, ethically-made fashion.

At the heart of my creations lie high-quality fabrics sourced from reputable manufacturers used by major brands worldwide. Recognising the significance of fabric in ensuring impeccable quality, I prioritise materials that contribute to the overall excellence of each piece.

My journey is a fusion of passion, ethical principles, and a relentless pursuit of quality, culminating in fashion that not only stands out but stands the test of time. Welcome to a world where design meets conscience!

During my journey, I have been fortunate to be involved with,

Creative Industries 2022: Creative Industries was an event to connect with creative educators, employers and our community. My class and I were donated end-of-life jeans from Nudie Jeans where we created an upcycled piece.

DB-Archive/Enta Zine: I was a part of an amazing Zine which is unfortunately no longer available to be viewed.
